The Fountain City Rod & Gun club has been in existence since the late 30’s. In 1970, the Fountain City Rod & Gun Club Trap Range was constructed, thanks to club member Wayne Litscher who set aside a portion of his land that would be leased to the club.

Today, the club still operates out of the same location, thanks to the Jim Litscher family. The Litscher’s have played a significant role in the past and present lively hood of today’s’ sportsman from our surrounding area. Today, a hunter safety certificate is required to hunt in almost every state, it is at the Fountain City Rod & Gun Club Trap Range that almost every person from this area, conducted the final exam of their hunter safety education certificate.
