Trout Planting
Ready to challenge your fly fishing techniques? Each year
the Fountain City Rod & Gun Club purchases and plants
approximately 800 brown trout within the Eagle Valley and
Doelle Valley water shed. In addition, the Club has donated
funds toward a major creek restoration program on the upper
Eagle Valley water shed. Nearly $5,000.00 dollars was donated
through the Fountain City Rod & Gun Club to deploy log
structures and rip rap to provide habitat for natural reproduction
and to contain erosion.
