The Fountain City Rod & Gun Club holds its annual fishing tournament each year in August in conjunction with the Fountain City Lions Club festival. The tournament is held at the lower Fountain City municipal boat landing and continues to be a success with hundreds of anglers competing annually in this Mississippi river battle!
