Do you want to learn more about fish, the aquatic environment, catching more fish, and making new fishing friends? If so, the Reel-Kids Fishing League can do this and a whole lot more.
Each Wednesday, the league will fish at the Alma Fishing Float.
Participants meet at the float shuttle dock at 4:30 p.m. and return ready for pick-up at 6:00 p.m. The float shuttle dock is located along the river across from the Bank of Alma.
The Alma Fishing Float is the largest full-service fishing platform on the Mississippi River. Jim and Tim Lodermeier have been owner/operators for over 30 years, with hundreds of youth safely fishing every year. While volunteers will help participants, chaperones are encouraged to attend.Registration is not required. League members do not have to fish every week.
